Managing the Discovered Websites List

This document is for:
Invicti Enterprise On-Demand, Invicti Enterprise On-Premises

To view the results generated by the discovery service:

  • Select the Discovery -> Discovered Websites option in the sidebar

  • This will take you to the Discovered Websites list

Adding a Discovered Website to the Websites & APIs list

  • You can items from the Discovered Website list to the Websites & APIs list

  • Click the Create button to add the selected items to your Websites & APIs list
  • Click the dropdown next to the Create button to add all the visible items to your Websites & APIs list

Show & Hide Columns

  • You can select which columns to display in the Discovered Websites list through the Filter Columns dropdown:

  • In this example, we have selected to hide the IP Address and Organization Name columns. Once you have selected which columns to show or hide, click the Save button

Export to CSV

  • Click the Export to CSV button to create an export file with all items visible in the Discovered Websites list.

  • The Export to CSV dropdown allows you to customize the format of the file.
  • The exported file would have a format similar to the following example:

Mark as Ignored

  • You can mark a discovered website as Ignored to remove it from the list.

  • Click the Ignore button to remove the selected items from the list
  • Click the dropdown next to the Ignore button to remove all the visible items from the list

Filtering the Discovered Websites list

Customizing the list with Filters

  • Each of the column titles has a search icon next to it

  • By default, the Discovered Websites list is filtered to show only items with the status Discovered. This excludes:
  • all items that have already been created in the Websites & APIs list
  • all items that have already marked as Ignored

  • Click on any of the search icons to show a detailed filter dialog; this will add a new field to the list of filters based on which search icon you clicked
  • select the comparison Operator you wish to apply, and add the search parameter to the Value field
  • click the Apply button for the new filter parameters to take effect
  • click the New Filter button to add another field to filter by
  • click the Clear button to remove all filters; this will show ALL discovered websites, including items already marked as Created or as Ignored
  • click the Reset To Defaults button to revert to the default filter, which shows all discovered websites that are NOT already created in the Websites & APIs list or marked as Ignored

Using Saved Filters

Creating a Saved Filter from your view

  • Once you have created a useful view by customizing your filters, you can retain the view as a saved filter

  • Click the Filter button at the right hand side of the column titles to expand the filter bar
  • Click the Gear button, followed by the Save button

  • Set the name for your new filter, and click the Save as New Page Filter button

Using a Saved Filter

  • You can select from your list of saved filters

  • Click the Filter button at the right hand side of the column titles to expand the filter bar
  • Select your filter from the list of saved filters

Delete a Saved Filter

  • In the Discovered Websites list, apply the saved filter you wish to delete

  • Click the Gear button, followed by the Delete button
