Filtering
Filters help you quickly find the correct information by narrowing down large datasets to display only the most relevant results. They save time and allow you to focus on what you need.
This document explains how to use filters in Invicti Platform and where the filtering options are available.
Use of filters in Invicti Platform
The example below shows how to apply filters on the Inventory > Applications page, though the steps are similar for pages that use filters.
- Open a page that uses filters. The filters are located at the top of the page.
- Filter data by clicking + Add a filter and using a filter and one of the operator options below.
- Repeat to use multiple filters. The data will adjust automatically.
- To clear all existing filters, click the Reset filters button.
The filters are not saved and will revert to the default settings when you leave the page and return. |
Filter options
Most columns can be filtered using a customizable combination of fields, operators, and values. The available fields and values will depend on the specific page and filter you are viewing.
These are the operator options:
- Equals: includes only exact matches.
- Doesn’t equal: excludes results that match exactly.
- Contains: include results where the filtered column contains the specified value.
- Doesn’t contain: exclude results where the filtered column contains the specified value.
- Less than: filter data with numeric or date values that are less than the specified value.
- Greater than: filter data with numeric or date values that are greater than the specified value.
- Date before: filter data with date values before a specified date.
- Date after: filter data with date values after a specified date.
- Options-based filters: use a pre-selected option to filter the data.
